Reinforcing Steel (Rebar) B500B / B500C
IRO's rolling mill produces reinforcing steel bars with improved adhesion in all commercially available grades by giving the bars the desired technological properties through surface hardening (TEMPCORE process).
The weldable steels produced using the TEMPCORE process have excellent ductility properties and are particularly suitable for seismic structures.
Dimensional range from Ø 8 mm to Ø 40 mm with standardised lengths of 6m, 12m, 14m and 15m with a tolerance of -0/+100 mm. There is also the option of cold cutting to various lengths with a tolerance of ± 10 mm.
